Talty '16 talks to BookWeb about his Native characters

"I really wanted to cut against what readers might expect, and so I really
focused on the characters--making them Native, certainly, but making them
human," the author of "Night of the Living Rez" and a member of the Penobscot
Indian Nation told BookWeb.
