 Faith Kealohapauʻole Paredes '27 has won the coveted title of Miss Aloha Hula last night at the 63^rd Annual Merrie Monarch Festival in Hilo, Hawaiʻi. Under the direction of her parents, ʻIliahi and Haunani Paredes and their Hālau (hula school) Kekuaokalāʻauʻalaʻiliahi, Faith shared the amazing stories of her familial and hula lineage with Hawaiʻi and the world. NAIS is extremely proud of Faith and the representation of her culture, heritage, and the Hōkūpaʻa community at Dartmouth. Paredes serves as the co-chair for the Lu'āu.
